EFORT 2022

The annual EFFORT Congress

has always been a highly anticipated event, a meeting place for orthopedic traumatologists from around the world to discuss the needs of modern patients, as well as the challenges and solutions facing orthopedic surgeons in their daily practice. It is Europe’s largest platform for sharing experience with a rich scientific program, exciting lectures from leading specialists, a large-scale exhibition platform for manufacturers and representatives of the medical business, a place to present innovations in the field of orthopedics and traumatology.

Among the participants, there have always been many Ukrainian doctors who have extensive professional experience, whose high qualifications and opinions are respected and recognized in professional circles in Europe and around the world.

Finally, after a two-year hiatus and online meetings, June 22-24, 2022 was marked in red in the calendar of many – the plan for the long-awaited visit to the 23rd EFORT congress in Lisbon.

However, this year our doctors are at the service of an even more important cause where they are most needed, saving lives every day, treating severe injuries and performing extremely complex operations. Thus gaining even more respect from his people and the whole world!

And those few representatives from Ukraine, who still had the opportunity to represent their country in a dignified way, were met by the community at every step, shaking hands and expressing the most sincere words of support.

So the representatives of our team had the opportunity to personally visit the stand of the MICROPORT ORTHOPEDICS company, which, among the leading manufacturers of orthopedic products, presented their products within the congress.

The ORTOTRAUM team expresses its sincere gratitude to our constant partners for supporting Ukraine and continuing fruitful cooperation even in critical moments!
However, upon returning, we held our breath with pain in our hearts from a series of terrible events: Kyiv, Kremenchuk, Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, Odesa…

But we know that our daily work allows us to be close to those who give life, health, freedom of movement and joy to our Ukrainian patients, which means that we will continue to move forward only for one useful cause.

We wish all Ukrainians to be able to watch airplanes in the peaceful blue sky, the impressive scale of ships in the port, stroll along the romantic promenade of Odessa, travel and return to a cozy home, and everyone do what they love!
